Invitation to Gloucestershire Carers Engagement Workshops - March 2018

(Published on 09/03/2018)

We would like to reach as many carers as possible, so please share this with anyone else who may be interested.

Gloucestershire County Council and NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group would like to hear from both carers and those they care for, about the support that carers need to help them continue in their caring role.

A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support. (Carers Trust) *For a full definition please see the Care Act 2014 .

We would like to invite you to attend one of our workshops so we can find out what support is currently like for carers and if we could make some changes to improve this in the future.

We can support you with your travel costs or replacement care to enable you to attend. Tea and coffee will also be provided.

We will have limited availability to the events, so to apply for a place please contact or phone 01452 328598 and include:

  • The date and venue of the event you wish to attend
  • Your name
  • Your forum (if appropriate)
  • If you are a carer
  • Your contact details (telephone/email)
  • Any access or communication requirements you have
